DESCRIPTION

Pachira aquatica is a very popular houseplant that’s commonly called Money Tree. The Feng Shui practice believes that this plant brings good luck and financial success hence the name Money Tree. These mini braided forms combine the stems of multiple plants.

Aside from being auspicious, this plant is also hardy and only requires low maintenance to thrive. It loves medium to bright indirect light and can even handle fluorescent lighting. Thorough watering can be done once a week, allowing top 2 to 4 inches to dry out before watering again.

According to NASA, the Money Tree is one of the best plants for purifying the air. The Clean Air Study also concluded that this plant provides a natural way of removing toxic agents in the air.
