DESCRIPTION

Ivy Madagascar is a special variety of the classic English Ivy, distinguished by its larger, more striking leaves with bold, defined patterns. This unique foliage gives it a more dramatic, tropical feel compared to the regular ivy plant, making it a standout piece in any collection.

Scientifically known as Hedera helix (from the Ancient Greek meaning “twist” or “turn”), the ivy is admired not only for its beauty but also its functionality — NASA studies recognize it as one of the best plants for purifying indoor air.

This ivy is a vigorous grower, thriving in bright, indirect light (avoid direct sun to prevent leaf scorch). It prefers cooler conditions and stays happiest away from heaters or warm vents. Like its cousin, it loves high humidity — mist daily or use a humidifier to keep its lush leaves looking their best.
