DESCRIPTION

The English Ivy is a popular indoor houseplant that is relatively easy to care for. Its name, Hedera helix, comes from Ancient Greek meaning ‘twist’ or ‘turn’, as it does while climbing. Not only is it beautiful, it is also functional. According to NASA, English Ivy is one of the best plants for purifying the air. 

The English Ivy is a very fast grower. It thrives in bright indirect light as direct light can burn its leaves. It does well in cool temperatures, so be sure to keep it away from warm vents or any heat source. High humidity will keep your English Ivy happy. You can use a humidifier to boost humidity at home or mist it at least once a day.
