DESCRIPTION

Dwarf Blood Banana is a miniature version of the larger Blood Banana plant. Although being a miniature version does not mean that it will forever stay the same size. This plant cultivar is still able to grow big and tall, just at a much slower pace and with its maximum height capped around 3 meters.

While being an edible fruit tree, mostly it is used as an ornamental plant due to the broad, thick green leaves with beautiful dark red patches and the Musa plant's importance in South East Asian heritage.

Blood banana care is very much similar to the common banana. This plant will thrive in full or partial sun and with plenty of watering and is most suitable for balconies or patios. A unique looking plant which will spark interest from many.
