These succulent plants are popular because they're one of the fewer indoor plants that produce their colourful hardy flowers at this time of year.

Kalanchoes are loved because their cute flowers last longer than cut flowers. They prefer bright areas, which will help to keep the blooms last. Even when not blooming, these plants have interesting flat, deep green foliage and can be kept as great looking houseplants throughout the year.

Native to Madacasgar, these plants are happy in tropical warmth but should not be watered too frequently. The soil should be allowed to dry between waterings and the plants are relatively drought tolerant.
