	Water once a week during normal weather; cut back during rainy or cooler periods. This is a drought-tolerant plant with a water-storing caudex, so avoid overwatering. Let the soil dry out almost completely before watering again.

Place it in a sunny spot to encourage healthy growth, and water only when the soil is dry to the touch—typically once a week is sufficient. Its slow-growing nature and unique shape make it a perfect low-maintenance bonsai for beginners or seasoned collectors. While resilient, it dislikes soggy soil, so always use a well-draining mix.
